Terms of use

ASIC Point is a free place to learn design verification. These terms keep it fair and working for everyone. Version of 28 October 2026.

Using the site

  • It is for learning. Use the simulators to run your own exercises and experiments. Do not use them as a general computing service.
  • Do not attack or overload it. No attempts to escape the sandbox, reach other people's data or the server, run code meant to waste the machine (such as mining or endless jobs), or get round the run limits. Each visitor gets a fair number of runs a minute.
  • Do not upload what is not yours to share. Leave out proprietary or confidential code from work. A small example that shows the same behaviour is always better.
  • One account per person, and only for people aged 18 or older. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • Play fair in Bug Hunt. Do not share accounts, copy answers between accounts or automate checks to game the rating. Accounts that do may have results removed or be closed.

The content

The lessons, problems, tests, diagrams and site code are the work of ASIC Point. You may read them, run them and use what you learn anywhere. Please do not copy problems, their tests or solutions to other sites or courses without permission.

The simulators the site runs are open-source projects under their own licences, credited on the simulators page.

No warranty

Every lesson example and problem is checked on real simulators, but mistakes happen. The site is provided as it is, without any warranty, and may change, pause or stop. It is not a substitute for a vendor simulator's documentation or the IEEE standards. If you find a mistake, please report it.

To the extent the law allows, ASIC Point is not liable for any loss from using the site or relying on its content.

Changes and contact
